SERKAN ERMAN ORGANIZATION CLARIFICATION TEXT ON THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

The Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”) entered into force upon its publication in the Official Gazette dated 07.04.2016 and numbered 29677. The Law aims to process and protect personal data in accordance with modern standards. In this context, the Law regulates the conditions for processing personal data, the protection of the fundamental rights and freedoms of individuals, and the obligations of natural and legal persons who process personal data.

As Serkan Erman Organization, acting in the capacity of data controller, we show the utmost sensitivity regarding the security and protection of your personal data.

1. General Principles in the Processing of Personal Data

Our Company acts in accordance with the general principles set forth in Article 4 of the KVKK regarding the processing of personal data:

• Compliance with the law and principles of honesty,

• Being accurate and up-to-date where necessary,

• Processing for specific, explicit, and legitimate purposes,

• Being relevant, limited, and proportionate to the purposes for which they are processed,

• Retention for the period stipulated in the relevant legislation or required for the purpose for which they are processed.

2. Method and Legal Basis for Collecting Personal Data

Your personal data is collected through automated or non-automated methods via our office, website, social media channels, proposal forms, event participation lists, our call center, or written/verbal communication channels within organizational processes.

This data is collected based on the legal grounds specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK, such as: being expressly provided for by law, being directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract, fulfillment of the data controller's legal obligation, and the necessity of data processing for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject.

3. Purposes of Processing Personal Data

Your personal data is processed by Serkan Erman Organization for the following purposes:

• Planning, managing, and flawlessly executing our organization services,

• Meeting customer demands and increasing service quality,

• Providing information regarding our campaigns, events, and services within the scope of your commercial electronic communication consent,

• Resolving customer issues and complaints,

• Following up on finance, accounting, and payment transactions, and billing processes,

• Managing legal processes and responding to information requests from administrative/judicial authorities,

• Ensuring information and transaction security, and preventing malicious use.

4. Transfer of Processed Personal Data

To achieve the purposes mentioned above, your personal data may be transferred to our business partners, suppliers (logistics, catering, technical team, etc.), banks, independent audit firms, and authorized public institutions and organizations within the framework of legal obligations. The security conditions in Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK are strictly followed during transfer processes.

5. Rights of the Personal Data Subject (Article 11)

As a personal data subject, you have the right to apply to our Company to:

• Learn whether your personal data is being processed,

• Request information if it has been processed,

• Learn the purpose of the processing and whether it is used in accordance with its purpose,

• Know the third parties to whom it is transferred domestically or abroad,

• Request correction if it is incomplete or incorrectly processed,

• Request the deletion or destruction of data within the framework of the KVKK,

• Object to the emergence of a result against you by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automated systems.

I hereby declare that I have read and reviewed the “Clarification Text” prepared in accordance with the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data, and that I have been fully informed about the purposes for which Serkan Erman Organization processes my personal data and to whom it is transferred.

In this context, in accordance with the general principles specified in the Clarification Text, I consent to the processing and transfer of my personal data, sensitive personal data, and contact information for the cases specified below, of my own free will and without being under any pressure:

• Commercial Communication: To be informed about organizational services, discounts, campaigns, and new packages offered by your Company via SMS, e-mail, communication applications such as WhatsApp, or phone calls,

• Visual and Audio Records: To the processing of photographs and video recordings taken during the organization processes I participated in, for the purposes of company promotion, being shown as a reference, and sharing on social media platforms,

• Third-Party Sharing: To the sharing of my necessary data with external suppliers (catering, accommodation, transportation, technical team, etc.) mandatory for the flawless execution of the organization,

• International Transfer: To the storage of my data on servers based abroad (due to cloud-based software or social media tools used);

I hereby give my explicit consent.

Audio and visual recordings are being made within the event area. Therefore, it is possible that you may appear in photography and video recordings taken at the venue. By purchasing an event ticket, you are deemed to have accepted that your face may be visible in whole or in part in photographs and videos, your voice may be recorded, and these materials may be used for purposes such as promotion, news, and other related media.
